01What we collect
Your name and contact details, the orders you place or fulfil, the messages you send through Clartiv, and the payment details our payment processor needs to move money. For cooks, the documents required to verify you and clear you for the food you sell.
Basic technical information about the device and app version you use, so we can fix things that break.
02Why we collect it
To run your orders, to verify that cooks are who they say they are and cleared for what they sell, to move money safely, and to step in when something goes wrong.
Nothing is collected because it might be useful to us later.
03What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles from what you eat. We do not publish anyone's home address. There is no version of Clartiv where we start.
04Addresses and pickup
A cook's pickup address is never on a listing and is never searchable. It is shared with one buyer, for one order, in the window around pickup.
A cook who delivers receives the buyer's address, not the other way around.
05Payments
Card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us. We keep the record of what was charged, held and released so that both sides can see the same history.
06Who else sees your data
The people you transact with see what they need to complete the order. Our processors, such as payment and identity providers, see only what their part requires. Nobody else, unless the law requires it and we are permitted to comply.
07How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and dispute rules require. Verification documents are kept while a cook is active and for a limited period after. Everything else goes when you ask it to.
08Your choices
You can see what we hold, correct it, export it, or delete your account and its history from inside the app. Deleting your account does not erase records we are legally required to retain, and we will tell you which those are.
09Contacting us
Write to us through the contact page and a person will answer. If you want a formal privacy request handled, say so and we will treat it as one.
